This is what happened to one of my classes last night where most of students are 15 years old.(어젯밤 수업시간에 있었던 일이다. 학생대부분이 15세, 중2학년인 반이다.) We were talking about the word 'election.' ('선거'라는 단어를 이야기하고 있던중이었다.)

Teacher(me) : So, if you had a right to vote now, who would you vote for as the next

                   president? (만약, 너희들에게 투표권이 있다면, 누구를 뽑겠니?)

Student 1 ; We don't even know who are the candidates yet.

                (학생1 - 후보가 누군지도 모르는데요?)

Me : (in a sad voice) There are two major candidates, 맹박 and 똥영.

       (슬픈목소리로 - 이명박과 정동영이란 분이 계시단다)

Student 2 ; My parents said that there were no one to vote for.

               (엄마, 아빠가 그러시는데요. 찍을사람아무도 없데요.)

Student 3 : Mine, too. (저희두요.)

Student 4,5,6 ,7....10 ; Same here.(저희두요)

Student 11 ; My mom says "유시민" is the best!!!! (저희 엄마께선, "유시민"씨가 제일 낫데요!)

Student 12.13,14,15 : My parents say that he is a Good Man.

                               (저희 부모님도 그분이 괞찮데요)

Me ; Wow. this is great! Please tell your parents that I'm a big fan of him, too.

       (대단하시구나, 선생님도 그분의 왕팬이라 전해드려라)

       Even though he gave up on his dream for the other sake, he will sure be the next

      leader   of this country. Keep track of him, and you will understand what I'm talking about

     now. (비록 대의를 위해 자신의 꿈을 접으셨지만, 다음엔 확실히 당선되실거야. 그분의 행적

             을  잘 눈여겨보렴, 그럼 선생님이 무슨말을 하는지 알게될거란다.)
