I am very encouraged. It¡¯s a timing issue in Korea. President Lee is in support of the FTA. He¡¯s also in support of getting beef back into his country, but they have election scheduled for April 9th, and he wants to make sure that he can get some of his people who have the same view that he has in the national assembly so that they can open up trade.

His goals for Korea are very inspiring: on-e less government to less taxes, less government regulation, and develop more overseas trade, develop a better relationship with the United States.

I¡¯m told that the public in Korea, about 60 to 70% of the public, really want US beef back in the market. I was on a tour of the market called E-Mart. It¡¯s on-e of the large chain stores. I met with the manager of the E-mart, and he said he can¡¯t wait to get US beef back in their markets. Their customers want it and he¡¯s anxiously waiting, so I think prospects are very good.
